Spaghetti Worms This is the coolest noodle fun! Kids will giggle as they touch and explore the slimy, soft, squishy, wet, slippery noodles.
Supplies:
Slightly undercooked and cooled spaghetti
Food coloring in various colors
Large ziplock baggies
Large, clear storage container with lid
Kids scissors
Treasures
Kid- size pots and pans
Instructions:
Put a handful of spaghetti in a baggie. Add 10-20 drops of food dye to the bag. Close the bag and squish and squeeze until all the noodles are covered in color. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then rinse. Repeat this process for each color. Place toy treasures in the bottom of the container and put lots of spaghetti on top. Give kids pots and pans, plates and cups and muffin tins to play restaurant. Pass out kid-size scissors so they can practice cutting the noodles. Stays fresh for one week.
